Design Services

Every project begins with a conversation. We listen to your vision, view the site, and ask the questions that get to the heart of what you want and how you live. We are honest about what is possible, what it will take, and whether we are the right fit. Typically we set up a second meeting to discuss initial design ideas and review the proposal. These two meetings are complimentary.

This is where the design takes shape — and where the collaboration is most alive. Jennifer develops multiple design directions: floor plans, site layouts, exterior approaches, and spatial concepts. She values your input and questions in order to refine the design. After reviewing many options together, the best direction is chosen. At this point clients have the option to initial cost estimates from contractors before moving forward to the next phase.

Once the design direction is confirmed, we produce a complete set of permit-ready drawings and coordinate the full consultant team (including but not limited to: surveyor, civil and structural engineers, energy and green building expert, arborist, etc.) Jennifer manages every relationship and submission personally, navigating the permitting process with the city.

The permit is granted and construction begins — but our involvement doesn't stop there. Jennifer stays active throughout the build: conducting site visits, responding to contractor questions, resolving the unexpected details that arise in every project, and ensuring that what gets built matches what was designed. You are never left to navigate the construction process alone.

For clients who want to take the design all the way through, Jennifer and Katarina collaborate on the full interior design— materials, finishes, fixtures, built-ins, and furnishings. Architecture and interior design are developed in conversation with each other, not added on at the end. The result is a home that is considered from the foundation up: one cohesive vision, carried through every room.
